5.Stop Production

5 Terminate Production

You are advised to seriously consider this. If your final decision is to stop production, you will be asked to sign a “Stop Production Request” authorization letter and send to us to activate this process. You will find all the details in this authorization letter.
After you stop production for a period of one month, you should consider re-starting or cancelling the order. If you do not give us clear notice of re-start/cancel after a period of two months, we will consider this order cancelled, and we will follow the procedure of order cancellation.

5.A Stop production after raw material purchased

Our factory’s warehouse is designed to run production, not for the purpose of permanent storage. If the material is stored for longer than a period of two weeks, it will be moved to another warehouse at extra cost.

5.B Stop production after production started

We can stop production in principle even after production has started. However, LongPack will usually finish to the next process in order to safely protect what has been produced. LongPack will stop production as reasonably as possible and will try to reduce waste to a minimum. It is not possible for LongPack to provide exact waste/stoppage costs at the time of stopping. It will take time for LongPack to collect all the information, and usually this is only available AFTER it is stopped. You will be asked to cover the stop cost once available.

5.C Stop production after production finished, ready for assembly.

We will normally assemble immediately what is produced. This means in principle you can not stop the

assembly.
