23. Customer-Supplied Color Match Production Instructions | v.20230725

Color matching with customer-provided digital samples:
The digital samples are usually printed using inkjet printers, which use ink as the consumable. Due to the fine characteristics of ink, the printed colors on the paper surface may appear more vibrant as the ink tends to diffuse. However, during actual production, flatbed offset printers are used with printing ink as the consumable. The ink contains larger particles, resulting in less diffusion on the paper surface and slightly darker colors compared to digital samples. Additionally, the digital machines used by customers and the printing equipment in our factory have different curves and parameters that are not matched, making it difficult to achieve 100% color matching. We strive to achieve a color similarity of at least 80% for digital samples.

Color matching with customer-provided production samples:
For customer-provided production samples, we inform customers in advance that color matching can be achieved to at least 90%, but 100% color consistency cannot be guaranteed. This is due to various factors such as the coating fineness, whiteness of the paper used in different regions, printing equipment, curves, screen ruling, particle size in the ink, and transparency of the varnish, all of which can affect or alter the color appearance during actual production.
